Great products, just don't buy...‎
Great selection of products in store and to be ordered - no complaints there. We wanted laminate flooring installed and were promised this could be done before our move in date, several times, by several people. By the time we finally received the product (which needed to set in the environment 48 hours before installation) it was clear that this was not going to happen. It was impossible to talk to anyone with any complete knowledge or authority because they outsource the work to Superior Installations, so both sides kept saying 'we don't handle that.' The floors were being installed while we were moving in, making things dusty and hectic and we had to have a lot of our stuff put in the basement to be moved up by us later. We were never given any refunds or apologies, and often didn't get a call back. Classic case of over-promising and under-delivering to make a sale. Next time, we'll buy their product and have someone else install, like we did for our tiling which ...

disappointing‎
lack of stock for basic items, slow service, unprofessional employees. the contractor i worked with on the project who had to go to this depot for stuff only had choice words and also vowed never to do business there again.‎

Worst Home Depot, ever.‎
I have shopped here many times only because it is right by my house (and when you need a furnace filter, it seems like an easy thing to run and get), but every time, I am treated with disrespect. And it isn't just me, there is a general vibe of contempt from the employees towards the customers. This is very unlike any other Home Depot I've ever been to. Once I saw the door department salesman yelling at a customer after she asked a question. Another time, as I was checking out and the cashier who was ringing me up got on the intercom/loudspeaker thing and told everyone to get their butts up to the counter to check out because he wanted to go home. He was a kid and kind of yelled that last part and looked very satisfied with having been such a brat. I couldn't believe my ears. The last time I was there, I asked someone arranging a pallet of plants a question (I thought he was an employee) and he was so nice and helpful. It was nice to actually be helped (9 times out of 10, ...

I second the reviewer who wrote about a bad phone call. I have also been on hold for way too long. Twice someone has come on the line only to put me on hold again. By the time I got an answer to my simple question, I had the sinking suspicion that the person just told me what I wanted to hear.‎
